Alex Delooze

I set up Delooze Hearing because I believe everyone in the Scottish Borders deserves access to genuinely independent, high-quality audiology — without having to travel to Edinburgh or Glasgow, and without being pushed towards products by practitioners with manufacturer targets to hit.

As the sole audiologist at Delooze Hearing, I see every patient myself. There's no referral chain, no junior staff seeing you first, and no handoff to a different clinician at your follow-up. You deal with me from your first appointment to your last — and I'll know your hearing and your history.

I'm HCPC registered, which means my practice is regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council. It's the professional standard you'd expect from any allied healthcare professional in the UK, and it means you can trust that the care you receive meets the right standards.

I'm based in Hawick and genuinely invested in the Borders community. Hearing care is something people often put off until the problem is quite advanced — I want to make it as easy and approachable as possible to get seen quickly, before small problems become bigger ones.
