During the holiday seasons travelling abroad via airplane is very common and in some cases it’s the only way to travel to your destination.
If you are a frequent flyer, you have most likely experienced airplane ear.
During the take off and landing period you may have experienced a rapid change in pressure within your ears, and felt a discomforting feeling or ache. This feeling can be rather uncomfortable however there are some remedies to try on your next flight.
Remedies:
In most cases of airplane ear, it is temporary and does not cause much distress. However if you experience hearing loss beyond your flight, vertigo or dizziness or a persistent pain after your flight, you should seek help from a GP.
